The Tagus from Top to Bottom We’ve outlined a proposed route — carefully designed to explore the Tagus River in depth. However, this path is flexible and may be adjusted as local councils and communities join us in this mission.  The journey is scheduled for the last week of September 2025. But one month before that, we plan to visit each location, assess landing conditions, and meet with local leaders to clarify details, address concerns, and ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.  The itinerary is divided into short segments of about 30 km each, allowing for safe landings and ample time to connect with and document each place. ! This route may change depending on the interest and participation of local communities. Itinerary: Donate Vila Velha de Ródão → Belver (~30 km) Visit to Belver Castle and panoramic river views. Belver → Abrantes (~30 km) Fly over Alvega, a peaceful riverside village just before Abrantes. Abrantes → Constância (~30 km) Flight over the ic...

This project offers :  Education ,  Development ,  Information ,  Inspiration ,  Motivation , and  Tourism ! “The River That Unites” Just as the Tagus embraces two countries — Portugal and Spain —,  Brazil was the embrace where two hearts came together.  He, José Correia Pacheco — Portuguese, with a steady soul. She, Maria Águas Santa Barrios — Spanish, with a sweet name and a strong presence. It was there, far from the banks of the Tagus, that they met and built a new life. From that union, a large family was born. I was born. And I grew up surrounded by stories of Portugal, Spain… and the Tagus. The Tagus did not unite them in their homeland, but perhaps it was the river’s invisible current that whispered the path to reunion across the sea. Today, I follow the river with gratitude and curiosity. Portugues I want to see it with my own eyes. To fly over it. To feel its breath. And perhaps, hear in its waters the echo of all that brought me here. ...

.   This project offers : Information, Development , Education, Inspiration and  Motivation! A New Perspective The “Tagus – Portugal’s Artery” project sets out to document, in a new way, the full journey of the Tagus River across Portuguese territory — from its entry at Vila Velha de Ródão to its mouth in Lisbon.   What moves this project?  The aerial journey by paramotor along the Tagus will generate exclusive photos and videos — but more than that, it seeks to awaken a deeper gaze among the locals, especially the youth, toward the natural and cultural treasures around them.
